INNPO Smart Battery is an application provided by INNOVATE POWERING ELECTRONIC, S.L. (Spanish tax ID B93462638). For privacy enquiries and requests to exercise your rights, email info@innpo.es.
01Data used by the app
The app uses Bluetooth to discover and read compatible batteries. It may process the battery's Bluetooth name and identifier and BMS readings such as state of charge, voltage, current, temperature and alerts. On Android 11 and earlier, the operating system requires location permission to discover nearby Bluetooth devices; the app does not request GPS coordinates or record travel routes.
Battery names, preferences, installation settings and readings used for history are stored locally on your device. Periods without a connection are not filled with invented readings. You can erase local data in Android settings or by uninstalling the app.
02Communication and recipients
The app does not require an account, contains no advertising and does not automatically send battery readings to INNPO. If you voluntarily configure a remote gateway, the app requests the HTTPS address you enter. If you supply an access token, it is sent only to that address and held only for the current session; the configured address is stored locally. The gateway operator is responsible for its own processing of data it receives.
If you export or share information outside the app, the recipient you choose may receive the data in that file. Files stored outside the app must be deleted separately. If you send information to INNPO for support, you can ask about its retention or request its deletion at info@innpo.es.
03Retention and rights
Data saved in the app remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app's data or uninstall the app. Exported files may remain wherever you save them. If you contact INNPO for support, we process the information you send to answer your request and retain it as long as needed for that purpose and applicable obligations.
You may ask INNPO to access, correct or erase your personal data, restrict or object to its processing and, where applicable, obtain data portability by emailing info@innpo.es. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
04Security and changes
The optional remote gateway must use HTTPS. The app does not need access to contacts, camera or microphone to read the BMS. We will update this policy if the app's features or data processing change.
